What is the best mattress for an adjustable bed?

Many people ask me what is the best mattress for an adjustable bed?  Here we will try to describe the main differences in the mattresses available for adjustable beds.

Pocket Sprung mattresses;

Pocket Spring mattresses have individual springs in calico pockets that react to the weight and movement of the user. This type of mattress is ideal for double or king-size beds where two people are sleeping together. The way the springs support each person means that the turning of one does not disturb the other as the springs. The number of springs in a pocket sprung mattress can vary and the more springs the more support. Here we show the bodyease 500 pocket sprung mattress. There are many pocket sprung mattresses in our range with variations of both spring count and padding, such as the Polly 2150 mattress shown below. Which as the name implies, has 2150 springs in it.

The Polly 2150 is 10 inches deep, the bodyease Electro Relaxer is 8 inches in depth.

Pocket Sprung Mattresses with Memory Foam

By adding memory foam to a pocket spring mattress you avoid the need to turn the mattress over. This can be very beneficial to anyone living on their own or anyone with mobility problems. The memory foam will also help to support and mould to your body whilst the pocket spring unit underneath will move with you.

Again we have across the range of mattresses we supply a selection of pocket springs with memory foam. Shown above is the bodyease Electro Relaxer Memory below you will see the Furmanac Lauren. Both have similar specifications but the Lauren has a 1000 spring unit, twice as many as the bodyease model.

As an alternative, you could select a mattress with a combination of Latex foam and pocket springs such as the one shown below

The Harper mattress by Furmanac contains 1200 pocket springs with a latex foam top. It has a soft quilted top surface and quilted side borders with handles and breather vents.

There are many more mattresses to select from on our site www.mobilityproducts4u.org. Or if you want to ask your questions directly then just call me Robert Winchurch on 01492 548102.
